Doctrinal Statement

As a conservative and evangelical school, we hold to the fundamentals of the Christian faith. This is expressed in the following statements:

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the inerrant, the infallible, and all sufficient authoritative Word of God.

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe God created the heavens and the earth in 6 literal days and rested on the 7th.  We support a young earth view.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His vicarious sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

In addition, the school believes in the five solas of the reformation:

  1. Sola Scriptura (“Scripture alone”): The Bible is sufficient. 2. Sola Fide (“faith alone”): Faith alone is sufficient for salvation in Jesus Christ. 3. Sola Gratia (“grace alone”): We are saved by the grace of God alone. 4. Solus Christus (“Christ alone”): Jesus Christ alone is our Lord, Savior, and King. 5. Soli Deo Gloria (“to the glory of God alone”): We live for the glory of God alone.

The school also holds to the three historic creeds: the Apostles Creed, the Nicene Creed and the Athanasian Creed.
